Positive Training for Brighter Futures

Sunny Side Dog Training was created by Aidyn, and inspired by Sunny—a dog she trained during her diploma program who later became her own companion—the business reflects her passion for helping dogs and their people learn, grow, and thrive together through positive, science-based training.

As a graduate of the Service Dog and Canine Management Studies program, Aidyn provides positive, science-based training focused on confidence, communication, and teamwork. From puppies and everyday manners to cooperative care, every dog is given the tools to find their sunny side.

Sunny is a happy-go-lucky Labrador Retriever from Dogs With Wings. I first met him at 13 weeks and then spent 8 of my 18 months at Medicine Hat College training together. After deciding service dog life wasn't for him, Sunny became my beloved pet in 2025 and now occasionally lends a paw during group classes or private sessions when the situation is right.
